ASOS Blank Canvas - an offline and online student activation to showcase creativity. The ASOS Blank Canvas truck appeared at Freshers’ Fairs up and down the country where students could create a bag from pre-designed emoji-style graphics, select designs by artists, or upload a bespoke design.

When tackling this project, it was important to create icons that would resonate best with students, eventually settling on emoji style icons that could cover a variety of interests.
Due to the limited colour capabilities of the on board printer a simplified colour palette was provided, stripping it back to CMYK. Using a varied opacity in cyan, magenta and yellow to expand the limited pallete and introduct new colours and tones to the icons
